Lauren Black is an independent audio producer. Her work has been featured on WCAI, The Public’s Radio (formerly Rhode Island Public Radio), Transom, PRX Remix, and Now Here This.

Most recently, Lauren helped pilot and produce the first six episodes of a new series for The Public’s Radio answering listener questions on environmental issues.

Prior to that, Lauren interned with Third Coast International Audio Festival and Atlantic Public Media. She was also one of the founding producers of Now Here This, a nationally recognized student audio publication. Lauren served as a producer, and later managing editor and senior editor with Now Here This for four years.

Lauren holds a BA in American Studies from Brown University.
